Yini Hao began playing the piano at the age of 4, eventually continuing her studies at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Liaoning province, China. In 2016 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music studying under Vivian Hornik Weilerstein. Ms.Hao continued to further her studies under Rieko Aizawa at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge- graduating with a Master’s Degree in Piano in 2018. Some of her performances include her solo and chamber performances in the Jordan Hall. Yini won the honor competition in Longy school of music for solo and chamber in 2017. Yini also got the chance to got the guidance from master class, like Robert McDonald’s; Chufang Huang, Benjamin Hochman; Peter Serkin etc.
Yini strives to instill confidence in her students. She inspires kids to enjoy making music and learn about its rich history. Four of her students passed the ABRSM test with distinction (the highest score on the exam for the Royal Schools of Music, the United Kingdom’s largest music education body), and five of her students passed all of the levels on the Royal Conservatory piano exam.
When she’s not teaching, Ms.Hao enjoys spending time with her three dogs Macy the golden retriever, Diamond, the french bulldog, and Julie, the chihuahua.
